We were proud and honored to be a part of Spring Rebuilding Day with Uplift Family Services and Rebuilding Together. Members of our Rubenstein team worked with almost 1000 other volunteers rebuilding and repairing homes in Los Gatos.

Included among the 36 work sites for the countywide Spring Rebuilding Day, an annual project of Rebuilding Together Silicon Valley, was a Los Gatos house that serves clients of Uplift Family Services. To that end, Rebuilding volunteers were tasked with improvements including an exterior paint job and backyard landscaping. Inside, crews worked to paint, update plumbing and lighting, install new flooring in the bathrooms and kitchen and refinish the hardwood floors throughout.
In total, the Saturday effort laid down 2,332 square feet of carpet, used 570 gallons of interior and exterior paint and cleared 450 cubic yards of debris, according to sponsors.
Annually, Rebuilding Together provides no-cost safety repairs to more than 400 homes.
