Duravit’s Bathroom of the Future

In the bathroom of the future

The post-industrial elegance of the pieces emerges from the interaction of soft, organic forms with a precise geometry and details finished to a previously unattainable level of perfection. Sharp contrasts arise from surfaces that combine the finest ceramics, glass and metal with matt lacquers or high-quality woods.
What will the bathroom of tomorrow be like? With the Viu ceramic series and XViu matching furniture, Duravit provides the answer: holistic yet individual. All manufactured using the highest precision. The additions – four new washbasin formats – provide further options for a very personal bathroom dream. Like the new 47 1/4″ wide furniture washbasin c-bonded with matching vanity unit, Black Matte profile color, Concrete Gray Matte body color (07).
Clear contrasts: soft, organic shapes and geometrically precise contours. Light and dark materials. From the washing area to the freestanding bathtub to the tall cabinet: The recurring characteristic design elements link and perfectly match all areas.
The 47 1/4″ wide c-bonded vanity unit is available with either one or two faucet holes.
The body color Mediterranean Oak (71) lends a warm, inviting atmosphere to the washing area. The semi-tall cabinet is optionally available with semi-transparent persol glass door. The V-shaped feet of the floorstanding furniture are particularly striking.

New mirrors to the XViu and Luv collections. Now, in addition to the option to dim light and defog, these mirrors allow for a seamless adjustment of light color, from cool to warm light, offering optimal light temperature. Duravit engineering and research teams studied circadian rhythm to understand optimal light temperatures for wellness and use in the bath.

The XViu mirror solutions, by Sieger Design, offer any bathroom a post-industrial elegance. These smart mirrors also feature defogging, light dimming and the ability to alter light temperature (from warm to cool) for optimal illumination. Mirrors and mirror cabinets in this series come in a variety of sizes and are eye-catching touch points to the bath.

Echoing the design language of the Luv series designed by Cecilie Manz, Luv mirrors (pictured above) from Duravit add a touch point of Nordic elegance and understated minimalism to any luxury bathroom. With soft rounded edges and classic design, these mirrors are an ideal and smart addition to the washing area. Available in a variety of sizes, Luv smart mirrors offer defogging, LED illumination that is dimmable and can be adjusted between 2,700 and 6,500 Kelvin for optimal light temperature. These controls are easily manipulated by the integrated technology panel.
