Bathroom Sharing: Survival Guide

Even the most loving, compatible couples can develop bathroom issues. That is: issues with space, privacy, cleaning or sharing. Here is a survival guide to making beautiful music together in the bathroom (wait – did that come out right?)

1. He’s a neatnik, you’re a slob? Space issues not withstanding, get separate sinks and separate medicine cabinets. Everyone keeps their own things handy and no one has to look at anyone else’s potentially squirm-inducing products.

2. Number one issue? Usually involves the toilet seat. Make life easy and install a TOTO Washlet. The seat automatically goes up  AND down.

3. Keep it stocked. Make sure there’s always a full supply of toilet paper, bar soap and bath towels.

4. Separate but equal. By two of all accessories – two toothbrush holders, towel hooks etc. Let everyone have somewhere to put things.

5. Unisex scent. Choose a nice scent that isn’t too girly, isn’t too manly to sweetent up the scent in your bathroom. Keep candles or diffusers lit or ready.

6. Some like it hot? The U by Moen shower system let’s each person set their own preferences -temperature, spray etc. A genius way to keep everyone happy!

TIP:

Do not flush or brush while someone is taking a shower. Could cause a scald or freezing droplet bullets to rain down.
